She;s from poland, but has exhibited everywhere. Her work is interactive, she often knits bodysuits directly on people, and invites viewers to cooperate with her art. She explorers the "androgyny of fixed identity, sexuality, and culture"
My final project has knitting involved, which is what initially drew me to this artist. I'm fascinated by her use of knitting as a means of unifying objects which wouldn't generally be categorized together.
Combining knitting with inflation is fascinating as well, because the artist is essentially knitting air.
