Adrian Guerrero is a multidisciplinary artist born in
Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2006 he received his Masters in Ceramics, and studied
social sciences as well. He’s had a
great number of exhibitions in galleries through Mexico, Italy, and the
Dominican Republic.
I was drawn to the unique presentation of ceramics this
artist used. Ceramics are commonly placed on a pedestal due to delicacy, yet
Guerrero decided to install his creations on walls and hang his work. I’m
fascinated by the simplicity and minimalism in his color choice/ assemblage,
and the unconventional display.
