The Shepherd Inevitably Consumes the Flock

AJ Fosik was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and earned his BFA in Illustration from the Parson School of Design in New York. He currently works out of Portland, Oregon, but has lived in many cities across the U.S. His background in graffiti, street art, and illustration led to his truly unique 3D creations and contributed to their graphic nature.

Why I chose to write about Fosik is that his sculptures are just that - graphic, colorful, animated and strange. They are so different from a lot else out there today, and they're something I find myself emulating quite often. His use of bold, flat color seems straight out of Adobe Illustrator or a drawing on a page and that really intrigues me.
