M S Hove's "Cakeland"

M. S. Hove is a sculptor who has recently experimented with decorative media in his work. He explores the relationship between "the beautiful and the brutal" in his recent sculptures and installation pieces. He explains that his sculptures are a personal exploration through the way that all beautiful things have a defense mechanism, and shows this by creating fake extravagant cakes with a mouth full of snarling teeth.
He also does huge installations of his fake cakes. Creating massively decorated rooms filled with cake everything.

i really love his cake sculptures specifically. I love the contrast between creepy and cute and his whole reason for making them.
