Artist Research 05 - Thilo Frank -

Thilo is an installation artist who specifically creates pieces that alter their environment turning them into unusual landscapes or scenarios.

 

I think what really catches my eye about his works is just the sheer size of it. A person can really get lost in the worlds he creates, and he manages to manipulate space to make it seem like his installations seem to go on forever when in reality they're not QUITE as big as that.

 

He really knows how to use light and mirrors to create some fantastic effects and what to use to get people to participate (like a swing for instance)

Not going to lie, that looks like a lot of fun!
